Acceptance
By accessing or using Startup Suite ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What Startup Suite is, and is not
Startup Suite is financial planning and reporting software. It helps you model, forecast, and communicate business performance. It is not a regulated financial adviser, accountant, tax adviser, or legal adviser. Outputs are based on the data and assumptions you provide. You are responsible for verifying numbers before sharing them with investors, lenders, boards, or regulators.
Early access & beta features
During early access, parts of the Service may be labelled beta or preview. Beta features are provided "as is", may change without notice, and may be less reliable than generally available features. We may limit access, change pricing, or withdraw beta features at any time. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the product without compensation.
Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- Break applicable laws or infringe third-party rights
- Upload malware or attempt to compromise the platform's security
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service beyond normal use
- Share access credentials outside your organisation without permission
Your data
You retain ownership of the data you submit and connect. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service. Our use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Payment & billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle, as selected at checkout.
- Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
- Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features after reasonable notice.
Cancellation
You may cancel a paid plan at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The Starter plan may be closed at any time; we will provide a reasonable export window for your data.
Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and force majeure events may cause downtime. During early access we do not offer formal uptime SLAs.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or remain unpaid after notice. On termination, your right to access the Service ends; data handling after closure is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
